Critical Thinking

Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, reinforced by extensive training and professional experience. As a military intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army, I developed exceptional strategic thinking skills, analyzing complex data and producing actionable intelligence. This role required making critical decisions under pressure, often with significant consequences. My training included various courses on effective communication, active listening, and critical thinking, which I later facilitated for others. At Adler Pelzer Group, I applied these skills in quality control and production operations, identifying inefficiencies and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. My role at Gielow Pickles further showcased my decision-making capabilities as I worked at multiple plants, ensuring consistent quality and safety standards while addressing and resolving issues promptly. Additionally, my Lean Six Sigma certification underscores my proficiency in process improvement, which involves critical analysis and strategic decision-making to eliminate inefficiencies. My ability to think critically and make informed decisions has been a cornerstone of my professional success, enabling me to lead teams effectively, implement process improvements, and drive operational excellence across various roles and industries.

"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education."
